Power

The entire complex is lit elegantly with beautiful electrical fittings. The A.P.Transco supplies high tension power to the Nigamagamam. There is a stand-by generator with 110 KVA capacity which supplies power to the entire complex in the event of failure of power supply by the A.P. Transco.


Water

Water is supplied through water connections specially laid by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad. The supply is augmented by water from borewell dug in the premises. Several water supply agencies in the locality and HMWS Board arrange supply of water from outside at reasonable charge, if required.

Gas

Adequate number of gas cylinders supplied by Hindustan Petroleum are stored in a separate gas cabin and gas connections are provided in the kitchen. Commercial gas cylinders 19 kg. are supplied at the approved rates on request by the parties.


Parking

Detailed account of the parking facilities is already given earlier. The parking place within the premises of Nigamagamam is adequate for even a big function.


Security

A Security Agency provides security in the premises for all the 24 hours. The security guards and security supervisors keep a close vigil and ensure, as far as possible, security of persons and property.

Housekeeping

A Housekeeping contractor looks after the cleanliness of the whole premises. Adequate number of workers work round-the-clock to keep the place absolutely neat. The bath rooms which include western commodes and standing urinal pans are maintained sleekly. Indeed the entire place is kept tidy.

Other Services

An electrical contractor looks after uninterrupted power supply. A sanitary contractor looks after maintenance of the water pipeline, drainage connections and bath room connections. Technicians and workers employed by the service contractors are available at the site to attend to any urgent requirement round-the-clock. Audio equipment in the Main Auditorium is handled by a Sound Engineer.


The Greenery

To provide a green and environment-friendly atmosphere around the Nigamagamam complex including parking area, a beautifully designed vast landscape garden has been established. The garden consists of all the modern components including software and hardware components. The software components include vast stretches of carpet grass - Bermuda and Korean grass lawns - seasonal and perennial flower plants, shrubs, creepers, ground covers, a rose garden, small rockery, potted plants and planters. The hardware components consist of a STEP FOUNTAIN (waterbody) with flower beds and carpet lawn on terraces with excellent lighting arrangements, a WATERWAY with fountain and lighting surrounded by flower beds and lawns. A total of 75 varieties of plants and trees make up the greenery of the Nigamagamam complex. Watering of the garden area is done by modern methods of either drip or sprinkler type and the entire garden area is provided with excellent lighting arrangements which have attracted attention and appreciation of guests, more so as most of the functions are held during the night time. The modern eco-friendly greenery around the complex adds to the sanctity and serenity of the place.

Lighting

The entire premises is provided with power lights illuminating brilliantly. Towers, 12 mtrs high, mounted with 400 W Methal lamps (Philips make) installed in front and rear sides of the premises illuminate brilliantly and convert dark nights into brilliant day light. Similarly a high tower has been installed and mounted with Methal lamps at the parking area to have sufficient lighting. Adequate number of Methal lamps are also provided in the Main Auditorium as well as Dining Hall.

Tent House

There is a tent-house in the premises where requirements of persons for performing functions can be drawn from the contractor. There is a huge supply godown located conveniently in the premises and persons can inspect the items available for use and draw their requirements from the contractor. Cooking Vessels, elegant and modern Crockery & Cutlery, Carpets, Tents, Chairs, Dining Tables etc. are available in the tent-house. The contractor supplies various items at rates approved by the Managing Committee. The contractor also arranges the supply of labour required.

Kalyana Vedika

A "Kalyana Vedika" is available with the Management if persons performing marriages want to use it. The kalyana vedika is an elegant piece of art which may be erected in the centre of the dais for marriage. For the supply of the Kalyana Vedika a reasonable sum is charged by the Nigamagamam.

Rates of Tariff

The Nigamagamam charges different rates for different categories of functions. The tariff for each category is given separately.

For programmes conducted in public interest by philanthropic and charitable institutions the Nigamagamam allows concession depending upon the merits of each case.

The rentals are fixed by the Management bearing in mind that the Nigamagamam is part of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, a renowned organization of public charity founded by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The tariff rates fixed are well within the reach of persons belonging to middle and lower middle class families. Expenditure for a marriage elsewhere is comparatively large.
